Good day great friends.there is this thing that has been bothering me after i visited a court sometimes ago when a guy was about to be sentenced the lawyer to the person while talking to the magistrate said, prison ought to be a place where somebody that has been setenced to spend certain years in it learn from his mistakes or wrongs but reverse is now the case. if i may ask what is the society doing to make sure that the place is meant to correct, breed resourceful people with great dreams, talents or skills that can help to boast the economy of our country?in many cases the society is helping in the breeding of hardened heart criminals because of the stigmals place on the convicts after serving their jail terms and the ways it celebrates evil by not reaveling those empowering and are into crime to the police.i appeal to the Nigerian police force & prison officers to help in making detention building & prisons to be habitable, treat the inmates with dignity for the purpose of correction.

poem of the day by hannah wilbert
Miles Away - Poem by hannah wilbert The roads look like home The streets look the same But yet I know Were not going home today Not the same as we came Its not home Were way too far Though it looks like home I know in my heart That it will never Be the same home again. For the very last time So you left Going miles away from are home where we had to stay Things gained value when you left Letters turned to gold Every sentence a story untold Of the pain and unending fight For our country, for our rights Than the letter no one wants to receive Came in the mail for me Suddenly In a flash The world became as broken glass The good turned into bad The happiness once shared Was now gloom and despair....
